Extra artwork information
Fonts: All screen and PostScript fonts need to be supplied unless converted to curves.
Colours: All colours on documents need to be set to CMYK. RGB is not an acceptable printing format. It is recommended that combined CMYK ink coverage does not exceed 240% in any one area. Large areas of black solids benefit from a 50% tint of cyan underneath to give it more depth.
Resolution: When supplying images, ensure that they are scanned at 300dpi and are at 100% otherwise quality will be compromised; we hope you want your leaflets and flyers to be as professional looking as we do!
Bleed / Trim & Cutting: All files require 3-5mm bleed on artwork for trimming of all edges, please also add crop marks to all four corners. If you are sending artwork for folded leaflets indicate where the fold lies in the artwork file. For a flyer or a leaflet to be finished correctly, please ensure that any text or logos are at least 5mm away from the edge of your file.
NOT ACCEPTED: leaflets or flyers that are designed in any of the following formats or colour settings: Adobe Pagemaker, Photopaint Pro, any Microsoft program, RGB, Indexed colour, PICT or Lab colour.
Following these guidelines reduces possible delays in production. If you have any queries on artwork please contact us on 0845 643 0665 or check out the Artwork faqs to see if we can remedy your problem there.
